A graduation ceremony for a group of Bio-Medical Equipment Technology Students has taken place on the Oyibi Campus.
The graduates were students in a special summer programme initiated in 2019. This programme is a partnership between the Adventist Health International (AHI), Valley View University (VVU) and Loma Linda University (LLU).
The Acting Vice Chancellor of Valley View University, Prof Peter Agyekum Boateng expressed his gratitude to the Adventist Health International, a global Adventist non-profit organization which is based in California in the United States of America for sponsoring all the students in the programme.

The Acting Vice Chancellor also reiterated the commitment of the University to developing the areas of health and technology.
´´The quality of this partnership has reinforced our conviction that we are on the right path,´´ Prof Boateng said.
The 15 students who graduated with Diplomas in Biomedical Equipment Technology are from Adventist health institutions across Africa. The countries represented include Ghana, Nigeria, Zambia, Malawi, Madagascar, Chad, Angola, Botswana, Sierra Leone, Kenya and Liberia.
Prof Boateng charged the graduates to go and make a difference in their fields of endeavour and seek excellence in the execution of their tasks.
In attendance at the ceremony were some of the instructors for the programme who were recommended by the AHI.
