NOTICE TO GRADUANDS FOR THE 32ND GRADUATION CEREMONY

 

 

A. PROGRAMME OUTLINE:

Graduands are expected to arrive at the Accra Campus on Friday, November 8, 2024, to participate in all graduation programmes (Consecration, Baccalaureate, and Congregation).

 Friday, November 8, 2024 - Convocation Service (6:00 pm)

 Saturday, November 9, 2024 - Baccalaureate (9:00 am)

 Saturday, November 9, 2024 - Hooding Ceremony & Dinner (5:00 pm)

 Sunday, November 10, 2024 - Congregation (9:00 am)

 

B. GRADUATION FEE:

Graduate:

PhD: GHc 4,500.00 (with personal academic gown) or GHC3,000.00 (without personal academic gown)

Masters: GHc 1,800.00

Undergraduate: GHc 1,500.00

Payment should be made by Monday, November 4, 2024, through the bank or via our mobile money platform using the short code *800*50#.

Kindly follow the steps below if you opt to pay via the mobile money platform.

4. Enter Student ID

5. Enter amount to make payment

6. Select (1) Yes

7. Please enter your PIN to confirm

 

C. REGISTRATION FOR FEEDING AND ACCOMMODATION:

The fee for feeding and accommodation covering the period, the evening of Friday, November 8, 2024, to the morning of Sunday, November 10, 2024, is GHc 120.00 and this is to be paid by Monday, November 4, 2024.

Payment for feeding and accommodation ought to be made via the short code *800*50# by following the steps below:

1. Dial *800*50#

2. Select (2) University

3. Select (4) Graduation Accommodation

4. Enter Student ID

5. Select (1) Yes to confirm payment

6. Please enter your PIN to approve the transaction

 

D. COLLECTION OF ACADEMIC GOWNS:

Graduands are to pick their academic gowns on Friday, November 8, 2024 from

8:30 am to 4:00 pm at the Columbia Block (CH 1-1).

 

E. PHD HOODING CEREMONY AND DINNER

PhD graduands are expected to participate in a hooding ceremony at 5:00 pm on Saturday, November 9, 2024, at the Boluwatife Conference Room to be followed by a dinner.

 

F. CERTIFICATECLEARANCE:

Graduands could begin clearance on the iSchool ahead of the Graduation, for their certificate collection by obtaining clearance on the iSchool from the offices below:

1. Finance

2. Department

3. Library

4. Student Life

5. Alumni

6. Office of the Registrar

 

Graduands are to monitor the progress of their Certificate Clearance on the iSchool until it reaches the final office and the status reads "Ready for Collection," that is when you could visit your campus to pick up your certificate at the Office of the Registrar/Associate Registrar by surrendering your WU student identification card.
