All new students are hereby notified that the Matriculation Ceremony for the 2025/2026

Academic Year has been scheduled as follows:

 

Thursday, March 5, 2026 - Oyibi Campus

Time: 11am

 

Instructions for All New Students (Undergraduate & Graduate)

 

1. Academic Gown Distribution:

  • All students must secure an academic gown and be properly attired for the occasion.
  • Gown distribution will take place on Tuesday, March 3 and Wednesday, March 4, 2026 at the Boluwatife Conference Hall between 10:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. each day.
  • Graduate students may collect their gowns at the School for Graduate Studies on
  • the same dates.

 

2. Orientation

  • Orientation for matriculation will be held at the University Chapel on Wednesday, March 4, 2026 at 3:00 p.m.

 

3. Attendance & Signing of Matriculation Book

  • Punctuality and full attendance are required.
  • Signing the matriculation book is compulsory.

 

4. Graduation Requirement

  • Attendance at the matriculation ceremony is a mandatory requirement for graduation.

 

5. Missed Matriculation

  • Students who missed previous matriculation ceremonies should contact the Registry for inclusion in the upcoming programme.

 

6. Return of Gowns

  • Gowns must be returned on the same day of the ceremony.
  • Failure to return the gown on the day of the ceremony will attract a penalty of ¢25 per day until the gown is returned.

 

NB: Matriculation completes the process of enrollment as Junior Members of the University Community.
