Valley View University Alumni Donate Laptops and Scanner to Support Academic Affairs Directorate

In a generous show of support, the Alumni Association of Valley View University donated three laptop computers and a scanner to the Academic Affairs Directorate on July 2, 2025.

The donation is aimed at enhancing the Directorate’s operations in key areas such as records digitization, attestations, English proficiency letters, and transcript generation, among others.

Speaking on behalf of the University Administration, the Registrar expressed sincere appreciation to the Alumni Association for the thoughtful gesture. He assured the alumni that the equipment will be put to effective use in line with its intended purpose, and pledged that it will be well maintained to ensure long-term benefit to the University. He further noted that the act of generosity reflects the alumni’s continued commitment to the growth and development of their alma mater.

Mrs. Gifty Aidoo, the Acting Director of Academic Affairs, under whose care the equipment falls, echoed this appreciation and reaffirmed her office’s commitment to ensuring the resources are used to drive digital efficiency, improve academic service delivery, and inspire responsible stewardship within the Directorate.

Alumni members present at the brief ceremony included the Pro Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Winfred Larkotey, Dr. Martha Duah, Dean of Student Life and Services, Dr. Prince Amoako, Mrs. Gifty Aidoo, Mr. Enoch Amoah, Mr. Godfred Ackah and Mr. Derrick Azamalah.
